Prepositions

Today in the car while we waited for Keeley at carpool, Kayden thought she saw a spider. I never saw it, but she was convinced it was there.

When we got home we had this conversation:

Kayden: (very upset) "There is a spider on our car."
Me: "I'll get him out when you take a nap."
Kayden: very annoyed "No. Not in our car, on our car."
Me: "Oh. Sorry. I'll get him off our car during nap time." (In my defense, the spider that she saw was inside the car, but on the roof. I thought that I could say out and it would be okay. Apparently not.)

Geez! Grammar stickler at two!
