After posing for her picture, she took off.
She paused for a bit to check on the playground.
We were early so we read for a little bit. Here she is eyeing the people coming in. You can tell that her enthusiasm is waning a little.
But just for a second. Look at that face! So lovable.
Taking off down the hall for her room.
Now, the moment I actually dropped her off and she realized I was leaving is when the drama started. After 5 minutes, I had another teacher check on her and was informed that she was still crying but that Ms. Karen (we love Ms. Karen!) had her. I asked if she was sad or angry and was told angry, very angry.
I called before I picked Keeley up and they said that she had a very rough start but had been doing well for over an hour. She was playing with kids and they were getting ready for lunch so I decided to leave her through the nap time.
After Keeley was picked up, she kept looking at Kayden's seat and saying "I miss my sister". How sweet is that?
Keeley woke up right before we had to go get Kayden so we packed up and hurried to the school. As I approached the door, I didn't hear crying and couldn't see Kayden. Ms. Karen said "She's sleeping, Mom".

All in all, I would say success!
Those pics of her in front of the house with the backpack and lunch box are SO stinkin' cute!
