Well, I finally decided to get Keeley's hair cut. I have cut it on my own several times, but all I really know how to do is trim it. Keeley refuses to allow it to be brushed, or washed well, or put up in any sort of restraining item. Kelly and I finally got tired of seeing her push it out of her eyes a million times and fighting with her so much on the grooming process.
While brushing her hair the other night, I told her that if we were going to leave it long, she would have to start putting it in clips and pony tails. I asked if she wanted to have it long like Chloe or short like Gavin (two of her friends at school). She, very enthusiastically, responded "Like Gavin!!!"
Seeing as he is a boy, I was not thrilled with this response. However, over the next couple of days, I saw the wisdom of having it cut much shorter. So, today I decided to take her to Sweet and Sassy and get a cut. She did very well considering her timid temperament and this being her first time. I think her hair cut is adorable and she loves it. I am very sad, however, that she looks so much older.
After the cut, she and sister enjoyed the stage.
