Kayden has a mind of her own. Unfortunately, she has a very loud and persistent temperament to go along with it. When she is older, these skills will likely come in handy. Right now, they really frustrate her mommy. Here's a run down of her day to illustrate some these traits:
* At breakfast, she grew angered with me because I wouldn't let her squeeze the ketchup. She proceeded to throw her plate so hard off the table that it broke - and scattered waffles, syrup, and ketchup all over the floor.
* At school, she cried violently when I dropped her off. When I picked her up I was informed that she didn't cry for an hour and a half like she did last week so they consider that progress. They also told me that she refused to use a marker correctly so they finally just gave up and let her "color" with the wrong end. She also cried when they took her out of the bye,bye buggy for movement class. She started pointing at the buggy so they put her back in and she watched the entire class from there.
* Once home, she tried to climb the window (and was then subsequently punished) not once but twice. What possessed her to even think about climbing a window in the first place?!?
* She tried to talk me into giving her another vitamin tonight. She said "vitamin" and pointed to her mouth. I said "No, only one vitamin" She held up one finger and said "two".
It is a good thing she has such an irresistibly cute face to go along with all these shenanigans!
I believe you made the same stong-willed comment about Keeley at about the same age. :)
