We had a birthday celebration for Kayden at home on Friday. Turns out it was a good thing too because we had to reschedule her party on Sunday when both the girls woke up with fevers. I was very grateful for the small party we had planned. There weren't too many people to call and I hadn't made a million cupcakes!
After dinner, we had cupcakes.Kayden learned from her first birthday and didn't touch the flame this year. I was thankful for no tears!
Keeley really enjoyed singing to her little sister.
and helping her blow out her candles.
Kayden also had a ready helper for the present opening.
Keeley received a lot of dress up items for her birthday. She isn't great at sharing them so we got Kayden some for this birthday. One of Kayden's favorite things to wear is gloves. She was very excited about these blue Cinderella gloves.
The big present was her tricycle.
She was so excited that it was pink and had lady bugs on it. So far she can only peddle it backward but I don't think it will be long before she is going full steam ahead!
