Favorite Killian phrases right now...

I love how he counts, "1, 2, 3, 4, 10!!!"

If you ask him a question he'll answer, "um, sure" (but it sounds like "chur") or "no thanks"  Just in case you are wondering, any time I ask him if he wants to walk instead of having me carry him, his answer is "no thanks"

If I ask him to do something, he says "okay, Mommy"  Love that sweet little voice.

Phone pictures!

These two really love to help me cook
We had a terrible week with a water leak and the restoration process and my awesome brother and sis-in-law sent us this Edible Arrangement.  I was so thrilled to eat something fresh (we'd been eating out the entire week every single meal).  As excited as I was that it was fresh and healthy, I still made cookies to go with it.  Chocolate makes everything better, right?!
I love this "cheese" face
Killian has quite a few snuggies.  He has his essentials here in the car - Grandma' blankie, tiny blankie, Pooh Bear, "bibo" (pillow), and baby.
Picnic in the rain on the driveway.
At Chick Fil A after swim lessons, Keeley was very chatty and polite with the manager that stopped by the table (Kayden was trying to get Killian out of the play area).  She came back to chat after we had all the kids at the table and all the kids were so sweet that she offered us ice cream.  As she was walking away, Kayden said, "Can I have a cherry?!" And the manager came back with three cones with cherries.  We love Chick Fil A
Distracted by her precious cherry sliding down the ice cream
Back where it belongs!  Big smile.  I love those missing teeth!
And this little face. So in love with him.
At a Build A Bear party - Keeley is helping Killian give "Cow" a bath.

Keeley got into a chest we have that has some of Kelly's childhood costumes and wanted to try them on.  Here she is wearing Dad's tiger costume, an "alien" headband, and the monkey costume that was her first Halloween costume.  I liked both her poses so I had to post them both.

He looks so grown up here :-(
We have played with the magnatiles so much this summer.  It usually starts out well and then I hear tears and "No bash, Killian"
Keeley and Killian both working at my desk.  Keeley is writing a book (about horses) and Killian is drawing "Jesus".
Not sure if Dad or Killian is having more fun here!
Building a train and putting all the dolls and cars "night, night"

Swimming

The girls have been in swim lessons twice a week all summer. They are both getting so confident in their abilities.  Today at a swim party they both loved jumping off the diving board.

I love seeing how much they enjoy swimming!

Frisco Fire Safety Town

We went to Frisco Fire Safety Town to ride jeeps.  SO MUCH FUN!  After we attended a little safety class, the kids each received tickets to drive.

I talked Keeley into letting Killian ride with her.

Kelly followed Kayden's jeep and I followed Keeley and Killian.  At one point Keeley started going backward.  Apparently Killian figured out he could put the jeep in reverse.  Keeley tried holding that and driving but she couldn't drive with one hand!  I had to take Killian out and run along side the jeep holding him until Kelly could come relieve me.  We will definitely be going back!

Painting!

The girls have been begging us to paint their rooms since we moved in so we decided to do it on July 4th when Kelly was off.  We let the girls pick their colors.  Keeley picked purple and darker purple.  Kayden picked pink and red.  She wanted stripes but after an hour and a half of me trying to make the lines straight and evenly spaced, I gave up.  There were some tears (from me and from Kayden).  But we finally agreed with polka dots in stripes (and Dad made the lines).
Killian and Grandma snuggled up to read.

We all had fun but I don't think we'll be painting again soon!  Keeley's room looks really cute too but we didn't get pictures of the painting in there for some reason.
