Rest Day

I had envisioned this day to be a day of resting.  We talked to the kids about what they wanted to do and Keeley really wanted to get her picture with Daisy Duck and Kayden wanted to ride Spaceship Earth.  In retrospect, I think we should have simply stayed at the hotel!  The monorail to Epcot took a long time again and then we had to wait for Daisy which frustrated all three kids.

Then Spaceship Earth wasn't what Kayden remembered....We headed over to Figment and played in the imagination labs for a bit before heading back home.

Back at the hotel, Killian napped and the girls and I met Kendall and Angie down at the pool.  We swam for a bit and then headed back to our hotel.  We had purchased the Disney Dining Plan which gave us a table service credit for each day.  Table service is either a nicer restaurant or a character meal.  After Crystal Palace, the girls said they were done with character meals so I cancelled the last one we had and pondered what to do with our two table service credits we had remaining.  I didn't want to waste them and I didn't want to take the kids to a "nice" restaurant so we decided to order room service.  That used two table service credits per meal and was in the comfort of our villa.  The girls were in awe of the process :-)

Kids got grilled cheese on rainbow bread!

Super fun!  I'm glad we used those credits that way.  Kendall and Angie came and dined with us and Killian entertained everyone!  The first half of the day was a little crazy but the second half was just perfect!

Magic Kingdom - Day 2

The next day we had a little bit of a slower start to the day.  We headed back over to Magic Kingdom and split up early on.  The big kids went to ride some rides and Killian, Oma, and I went back to Pooh.

He loved this honey.  You could touch it to make it change the drip pattern.

He loved the ride so much that Oma thought he needed a giant Pooh and a book.
Oma went over to ride the Barnstormer and Killian and I enjoyed Dumbo.

He then thought he needed to eat a stack of about 6 peanut butter crackers.

The Tinkerbell picture!!

More ducks.  Fascinated with the ducks.
There was a photopass guy right outside Crystal Palace so we took a few more pictures while we waited for our reservation.

I think that Oma and Grandad enjoyed this one the most of all the meals.  This is a cute meal.

After the meal, Dad took Killian home for a nap while we stayed to ride the tea cups.

We then headed back to the hotel to swim a little before Grandad and Oma left.  Super fun, super busy day!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

This was our first year to do the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and it was so much fun!  I was a little nervous because this was also the first year that the girls chose not to wear princess dresses at the park.  I was afraid we would get to the boutique and they would see all the girls in dresses and want to buy one.  They did, and I reminded them we had already talked about this and they said no.  We weren't buying a dress there.  They quickly got over it once they got to meet their Fairy Godmothers in training.

I took tons of pictures.  Kayden was much more animated but I think they both really loved it!

Because it was raining, they gave the girls these little covers for their hair.  The girls insisted on wearing them whenever we were outside.

So much fun!  We headed back to the hotel to pick up the rest of our crew and head to dinner.
