Bike-a-Thon

This year the Bike-A-Thon was on a Saturday and it was a little less structured. A little less structured + toddler in tow meant not many pictures. We all had a lot of fun though!

After they did their race, the girls played in the toddler area.
Keeley loves to get her face painted!  And it is almost always a butterfly.  She is still obsessed with butterflies!

april 24

Well, we went from Keeley wearing glasses to not wearing glasses to both the girls in glasses. I think they are pretty adorable!

Brother wanted a picture too!

New playhouse!

When we moved, Granddad bought the kids a new playset. They are in love with it.   Keeley keeps talking about how "amazing!" it is.  Thanks, Granddad!

This is Keeley's favorite part of the swing set.

Love those sweet little faces!

Tubes

After his 5 round of antibiotics in 7 months for ear infections, we went ahead and made the decision to get tubes.  I hate giving the kids medicine but also didn't really want him to have tubes.  I sort of thought he was going to be spared surgery!  The doctor said that was too many antibiotics (and I agree).  He also said that that many ear infections, being a boy, and having 2 big sisters to talk for him added up to a bad situation with speech and language development.  So, tubes it was!
He took his baby and blankie.  After the versed, they gave him stickers and crayons to play with.  Crazy boy put the stickers everywhere.

He's so cute. Love that little face.

Versed did not calm him like the girls.  He was super hyper and just wanted to get up and walk.
He requested this in recovery :-)

Surgery went well and recovery was rough.  He just didn't think he needed to be still and rest.  After his nap, he did much better and seemed much happier that he could finally walk without falling!  He's speaking more clearly so I think they are definitely helping with his hearing.

More random phone pictures

I know this is blurry, but I loved that he grabbed the little stool from his drum set, pulled it into the hall way, and watched the electricians.  So adorable.
  First walk in our neighborhood....

Do you see the girls WAY up there?  That was how most of our walk went.  Killian exploring, the girls running.

The park isn't that far from the house, but it was too far too late for me to want to walk there and back.  The walk to places is always fun.  The walk home is often a different story.  Fortunately, Dad was on his way home and stopped by to pick us up!
And I'm so glad he did because he helped Keeley master the monkey bars!!
We bought this horse for Kayden when she was about Killian's age but it didn't stay out long because it was just too big for our space.  When we moved, we stuck it upstairs in the playroom and it has been a big hit (with all three). It took about a day for Killian to stand all the way up in the saddle so the horse may not stay at our house long!
Here is our second family "walk."  Hooray for Dad!

Keeley is very concerned about a fire and she made these escape plans for Kayden :-)  She made one for everyone but Kayden's has the most options since they are upstairs and we are down stairs.  So adorable.

Keeley lost a tooth, and then lost the tooth so she wrote a note to the tooth fairy!

When I was putting all Killian's clothes away from the move, he saw this outfit and insisted on wearing it.  It is adorable and I have tried to get him to wear it several times.  I guess it had to be his idea!

There are so many kids in our cul-de-sac and on the next street that are the kids age's.  So much fun!  Every day the girls want to go out and see who is playing.  I'm having to figure out how to get dinner ready earlier so that we can play out front during that pre-dinner crazy time.

I just want her to stay like this forever.  Her 5th tooth she lost one of the first nights in the new house and the  Tooth Fairy almost forget to take her her money.  The sixth tooth actually fell out at night and then she lost it before I could even see it!
All three kids had their eyes checked and Kayden was the only one that needed  hers dilated.  The receptionist gave all three kids glasses while we waited.  Of course, Kayden was the only one that didn't wear hers!

Easter egg hunt

The kids were very disappointed that we ran out of time to do the hunt on Sunday and so they were determined to get it in on Monday.  We didn't have anything in the backyard except backyard so Dad hid all the eggs out front.
The girls are so sweet to him.

I think all the candy made up for the wait.
