Mother's Day Tea

Today the school hosted a Mother's Day tea.  If there were multiple children in your family, all the kids gathered in the youngest kiddos classroom.  Because it was a Friday and Killian was not at school, we gathered in Kayden's classroom (even though Killian is always with me!).  I received a special invitation from Kayden for the tea so I thought it was appropriate to gather there.

In true Montessori fashion, the students served.

At the table we enjoyed our tea and lemonade with cookies.  Keeley had baked me a special chocolate treat in the elementary so I had that to enjoy as well.  Kayden made me a paper flower with the center as a blowpop.  She explained that she could have the sucker if I wanted her to :)
