Disney - Day 2

On Day 2, we started the day at Epcot and were going to finish the day with an early dinner with Cinderella and then head to Magic Kingdom to see the Electrical Light parade and the fireworks.  I didn't really envision Epcot being a park the girls would enjoy the entire day, but I did want to go for a little bit.  It turned out to be such a great decision.  The girls enjoyed the Nemo ride and the Crush talk.  They liked parts of the Figment ride and the play area after that.  I think the best thing though was that there were lots of characters for us to start the warming up process!
Keeley wanted her book signed, but didn't want to get too close.  Kayden is still checking it out.
Big smiles from little sister...but not too close.  Big sister has fled the scene.
Mickey was the start of a line of 6 characters.  Keeley still doesn't know what to think.  Kayden is starting to really enjoy the attention.
Keeley is in the picture and appears to be smiling.  Minnie tried to get close to Kayden so she hid.
Progress....both girls in the picture and not cowering behind me.
Outside the Sea Exhibit
Playing on the squares after Figment.  They play instrument sounds when you jumped on them.
Enjoying the flower Daisy.

After Epcot, we headed back to the hotel for naps and then got all ready for dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, her stepsisters and step mother.
Keeley insisted on wearing her Belle dress and then got mad that she was wearing the "wrong dress" when most of the other girls were wearing Cinderella dresses.  Kayden refused to wear her Cinderella dress.  We watched this tv show for a while before the restaurant opened up.
Kayden had fun with the characters.  Keeley cowered behind Kelly.
I love Kayden's smile.  She LOVES Cinderella.

Then we took the ferry over to Magic Kingdom and made a mad dash to locate seats for the parade.  People line up SO early for the parades at Disney.
Waiting for SpectroMagic parade.
Still waiting...
In awe of the show.  Shortly after this picture Keeley turned to me and said, "this isn't really fun."  Not loving her age so much right now...

After the parade we dashed again to a good viewing spot for the fireworks.
Love that both my girls are covering their ears while we are supposed to be enjoying the firework show.

Turns out it wasn't so necessary as the girls promptly decided it was too loud and went inside the restaurant to avoid the show.  Kayden will still tell you that they were too loud when she saw Tinkerbell (from the castle) and Keeley will try to convince you that her hat helped to muffle the noise.

We didn't get to do anything else in Magic Kingdom because it was so late so we just headed home for what we thought would be a restful night after a busy day.
