Magnet Painting

Somewhere on some blog, I read about painting with magnets.  We decided to give it a try during Killian's nap time.  Unfortunately, my small cookie sheets that I was planning on using where in his room and these were a little big for the girls to hold while they painted.  Basically, I put a magnet on the top and one underneath.  The girls moved the magnet around on the bottom to make designs on the top.

 

 

 

Keeley tired of using the magnet underneath and just used the one in the paint to make her designs.

Kayden discovered how to make purple!  She was so proud of herself.

   

After a bit, we moved to bigger paper on the floor...

 

 

 

It was funny to watch the kids because Keeley was completely involved - big, messy, lots of colors.  Kayden didn't like that her hands got dirty and only wanted to use two colors.
