I just mandated a 15 minute rest period for the girls. Keeley was upset and I said, "I'm sorry. I guess I'm the meanest mom in the world." She responded, "Mommies are supposed to be nice. If you are going to be mean, I want to trade out for a new mommy." She immediately started giggling when we discussed where she might look for a new mommy - not the library, or the grocery store, or on line....I like that it is still that easy to get back in her good graces!
