Magic Kingdom - Day 1, Morning

Very, very late Monday night, Oma arrived in Disney World.  We were so excited to add her to our crew but a little nervous because the weather showed 60% chance of rain and a tornado watch for the day.  We all did get wet, but not too bad.  We arrived early to see the opening show but didn't get any pictures.  Traveling to Disney with a toddler and two other young kids is tricky.  It was hard to remember to take pictures.  Most of the time we were just trying to make sure we knew where all the kids were!  After we saw the opening show, we headed straight to the new Fantasyland.  Our first ride was the Ariel ride.

After that, we headed over for a potty break and Oma, Killian, and Grandad rode the carousel.

From the carousel, we headed to Winnie the Pooh.  This ride definitely has the best waiting experience.

Killian rode between Gradad and Oma and wanted to pull the seat bar down on his own.  This was, hands down, his favorite ride.  When it was over, he pulled the bar down again and said more.  Every time we rode after that he would start to cry as we pulled up to get out.

Kelly and I actually got to ride and sit next to each other!
We headed over to It's a Small World after that.  I think everyone needs to experience that ride, but it just really isn't that exciting. Unless you are 1.5 and then there is so much to notice.  Killian did enjoy it and was sad when it ended.

We did Peter Pan and then ate lunch, sending a sleep Killian home with Dad.

The girls and I then headed over with Grandad, Kendall, Angie and Oma to ride the Barnstormer.  They actually let the girls ride by themselves (with me right behind) and we were the very first car.  Super fun!

I love this picture of their little heads right next to each other.
After that, Grandad, Kendall, Angie and I took Kayden over to ride Big Thunder while Oma stayed behind to ride Barnstormer again with Keeley.  Kayden had SO much fun on Big Thunder.  She screamed most of the way with a huge grin on her face and big saucer eyes.  Our first year out she was too little to ride and it was closed last year so this was her first experience. Kendall and Angie turned around several times during the ride and just laughed at how much fun she was having.  When we finished she turned to me and said, "THAT was SO much fun!!!!"  Priceless!

We left Kendall and Angie to play at the parks and headed over to the Castle for our make overs.  As Grandad left, he had a little photoshoot with Mickey!
