Ice!!!!

We were hit with a massive ice storm!  I didn't believe it all would actually happen but it sure did.  We woke up to a winter wonderland of white - too bad it was all ice and no snow.  The kids didn't have school so we went out to play...
Checking out all the icicles on our climb thing.

Slowly exploring with Dad (Mom is on the porch.  I'm not a fan of crazy cold).
Cheese face :-)
Eating all the harvested icicles

Maybe one of my favorite pictures of Keeley.  I love the joy on her face.

Playing Mary with the hand towels from their bathrooms
We played and rested and went to sleep...only to wake up to more of the same the next day...so we were off to explore some more.
Our blow up Santa died.  "hard as a rock" as Keeley exclaimed.
Eating more ice.  I'm choosing to pretend this didn't come from the street.
Riding in rubbermaid tubs down the driveway.

Thank goodness for new toys (our nativity scene from last year).
And new books to keep us entertained!
Sunday was more of the same and then Monday rolled around and Daddy had to go to work but we were still home.  I decided we needed some time in the art room and got out these nutcrackers for us to decorate.

Such concentration.

Killian really enjoyed this activity.
Dress up time!
On his phone, with his purse, wearing heels and a princess dress...but driving a construction vehicle!
