Today we celebrated Kayden's "graduation" from Kindergarten at the school's graduation ceremony. We enjoyed the festivities and I enjoyed watching Kayden with her classmates. Kindergarten ends a cycle in montessori and a lot of parents send their kids to public school after this year so this is the last year she had with a lot of these students. The two little boys on either side of her are Joshua and Harry. They were in her class this year (the only other kinders) and she enjoyed them. Joshua had a big time crush on her and even told his mom that he wished he could go to the Daddy Daughter dance so that he could have seen Kayden in her dress. Joshua is also the one that she would play with when they were supposed to be cleaning and then tell him to start working when the teacher walked over because "sometimes I know the right thing to do, I just don't want to." She had a fantastic kindergarten year this year and I'm so thankful. We loved her teacher at the other school and it was hard for me to be happy moving her for this big year.

A picture with Ms. Wilcox. Could there be a more adorable picture? Mrs. Wilcox adored Kayden and told me that she was "a jewel" and such a "well rounded person" and she could "teach 100 students if they were all like Kayden". I loved dropping Kayden off at school every day knowing that Mrs. Wilcox recognized what a special kid Kayden is and being confident that she was loving on my baby!
