Bainbridge

Kendall had found this really cute little Norwegian town on Bainbridge Island and we were going to meet up with them, take the ferry, and then head to the town.  When I looked over the options for activities and did some math about what time we'd arrive in the town, I realized it was probably not going to work for the kids. Kelly and I decided to start out as a family for the ferry ride and then just find some stuff to do in Bainbridge while Kendall and Angie took Gramma and Mom to the town.

The ferry ride got off to a bumpy start with Keeley (she was exhausted and we'd been too busy for too long) but the other two enjoyed it...

Once we landed, we drove to a park to let the kids run around and play.  The weather was perfect and the park was fun.

While we were there I asked some moms about local dining options that were kid friendly.  We loaded up to head to eat but had waited just a little too long to head to a recommended restaurant.  When we arrived it was kid friendly but our kids weren't friendly.  There were tears...Mom included.  We finished up, made up, and headed back to the ferry.

I was really wanting some ice cream so we found a very tasty ice cream shop and had a yummy treat.

Naptime happened in the car again and we got home a little bit before the rest of the crew.  We all relaxed with some tv for a bit and then the kids headed to the porch with Oma for some craft time and bubbles while I made dinner.

After a little hot tub time and baths, the kids headed to bed.  They were exhausted!!
