Our plan for today was Happy Hollow Zoo and park. The night before at dinner Michael had incredulously asked, "Is that even still there, Mother?" Apparently it has been around a long time!! We met up with John and Pat at their house and took the short drive to Happy Hollow. The first part had a small zoo with lots of little play areas interspersed throughout the animals. The kids liked being able to explore and climb so much.

After we'd explored the animals and climbing areas we ate lunch and headed over to the amusement park area. The kids thought this was the best part!

We drove John and Pat home and went back to the hotel to rest for a bit. After a brief cool down and rest,we headed back over for dinner and lots of desserts. The kids are frosting cookies with icing and powdered sugar here.
It was great day! The kids played some more in the trees and the grown ups got to relax a bit. Everyone was tired that night!
