Seattle

We had a full day planned for our first adventure in Seattle.  First stop...Google!  We took a tour and then walked to taste some chocolate at Theo's.  This is how walked most everywhere on the trip.  Fighting over holding mom's hands and Killian wanting to be held.  Nevermind the fact that we had Uncle Kendall, Angie, Grossmama, Oma, and Daddy there.  Everyone wanted Mommy.

After we tasted chocolate (and bought quite a bit), Kendall and Kelly walked with the kids back to Google to get the car and we they played the crane game.  The girls waited for a really, really long time.  When the cars finally arrived we learned that you get to play the crane until you win....and we had 3 kids trying to play.
We had packed a picnic lunch and drove to this Gasworks place to eat it.  We saw a crazy troll under a bridge but I didn't get a picture of him...

We parked on these steps to eat.  While all that other stuff was really neat, it had "no climbing" signs all over it and there was at least one homeless person sleeping in there.

My kids hate shoes.
After this stop we headed to the Space Needle.  We dropped off Gramma and Mom while we went to find parking.  As soon as we got to the entrance we sent Mom a text asking where she was and she kept saying "at Spindle top"  Silly Mom!  We eventually found her and the kids played while Dad got tickets.

This was a really neat touch screen where you could scroll through all the pictures people had posted of themselves at the Space Needle.
At this point we actually left Kendall and Angie in Seattle because they had a concert to see and we drove back to the house. It was late in the day so nap time happened in the car.  When we arrived back home the kids played on the porch with Oma while I got some dinner ready.  We ate and then everyone turned in pretty early.  It was a jam packed day!
