6 Months

Kayden is six months old! Hard to believe how fast the time keeps moving. In the span of a week she has learned to crawl, pull-up, bear crawl a little, and started moving her hands in preparation for cruising. All this moving is causing her to be exceptionally difficult in regards to sleep. I keep trying to remember that Keeley started sleeping better when she learned to walk...just a few more months to go. We've just started solid foods too. She is really enjoying them so far.

Her stats at the doctor's were:
17 lb 7 oz (74%)
26.5 inches (73%)

She is having a small surgery next week on her tear duct since it is still occluded. The doctor believes that strapping the kids to a papoose board is a bit traumatic for everyone so she will be under a gas mask. I'm happy for this because it will make the procedure less stressful for her and quicker (her doctor said 5 minutes). I'm sad that my 6 month old will have to see an operating room so soon.

Here are some photo highlights of our little one on the move.

First time in the tunnel.

Crawling in the tub. We've had to get rid of the chair because she kept trying to escape. I love the wrinkled up nose!

Trying to move the box like Keeley.

She pulled up on her table.

Trying to bear crawl - less than 1 week after she started crawling on all 4s.

Interested in getting to Keeley.

Oh my. I started a load of laundry and saw this. Kayden standing on the step trying to climb up to Keeley who, for the first time, started washing her hands on her own.
