Christmas Treats

This year we made Christmas treats as part of our gift for the girls' teachers.  The girls really enjoyed making them and were so proud to present them to each teacher.  I forgot to get a picture of the finished products but here is the process.
Spreading peanut butter.  The girls love to practice spreading.
Such focus.
I think Kayden may enjoy spreading more than Keeley.  Of the two, Kayden enjoys being with me in the kitchen the most.
This particular morning, however, she only wanted to spread peanut butter on 4 crackers before she was more interested in playing with Killian.
Keeley choosing sprinkles.  Let's ignore Kayden's fingers.  Fortunately she was done with the hands on part of task.

Kayden tapping to sprinkle the cookies.
Finished product and happy girls!
Rolling the oreos and cream cheese for our "Oreo Truffles".  They started whispering potty jokes and I put and end to that pretty fast by telling them they would not get to eat any of the treats if they didn't stop.  I guess sweets was more appealing than potty humor because they stopped pretty fast!

After they were all done with theirs, I finished the rest of the batch and they went to the living room to wear the Christmas stockings.

Here they are last year doing the same thing.  Perhaps this is a Christmas tradition in the making....
