Yard Work and vists from Grandma and Oma

Our neighbor had some extra mulch this weekend that he offered to us.  We decided to take him up on the offer and quickly set about cleaning up the front landscaping and purchasing some new plants.  Kayden was an eager helper.

Even Killian wanted in on the action.
After all was cleaned up, it was rest time for the day.  Early the next morning we had a visit from Grandma for birthday presents.
Grandma always bring a little something for the other sister.  Pretty soon Killian will know enough to get something too!
Keeley opening in secret.
A piggy bank that cannot be broken.  Perfect!  She also received a really cute sewing kit and some hair accessories.
After Grandma left, the girls and Kelly set about planting.

Oma came over in the afternoon for a little bit and Kayden gladly chose snuggles and snacks for most of the planting.

Keeley took a break from her planting to get some snuggles also.

Girls were teaching Oma the Spanish word for "tongue" like they learn at school.  Kayden snapped the picture.
